Accounts Specialist 

This position is responsible for assisting with medical billing procedures and general office support.

Experience Required:
-Must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in accounts receivable and medical billing
-Must have excellent organizational skills
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and walk up and down steps with ease
-Experience in health care setting, desirable
-Must have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
-Should be familiar with other Microsoft Applications ( i.e. PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
-Must be efficient on multi-line phone
-Must be able to handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure of deadlines

 

Executive Assistant

The primary function of this position is to assist the Chief Executive Officer and other administrators at Hospice of Southern West Virginia. The Executive Assistant candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook), have excellent organizational skills, experience in a healthcare setting, efficient on a multi-line phone and must be able to handle multiple taks and perform well under pressure of deadlines. The Executive Assistant is expected to have outstanding customer service skills. 

 

On Call Nurse

RN and LPN positions available. Some evenings and weekends required. Candidates must work well in a team environment and be willing to provide care in patient homes. Travel required. Competitive benefits package and reimbursed mileage. Salary to commensurate with experience.

 

CNA (Bowers Hospice House)

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people. Candidates must work well in a team environment and provide “a special kind of caring” to patients in the Bowers Hospice House. Salary to commensurate with experience.

 

CNA (Home-based)

Candidates must work well in a team environment and be willing to provide care in patient homes in Raleigh, Summers, Fayette and Wyoming counties. Travel required. Competitive benefits package and reimbursed mileage. Salary to commensurate with experience.

 

PRN Bereavement Specialist

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people. The Bereavement Specialist will assist with grief support programs at Hospice of Southern West Virginia.  Bachelor’s degree and social work license required. One year in health care setting or grief support services preferred.

 

PRN RN (Bowers Hospice House)

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people. Candidates must work well in a team environment and provide “a special kind of caring” to patients in the Bowers Hospice House. Salary to commensurate with experience.

 

Staff LPN (Raleigh County)

The primary purpose of the Staff LPN position is to implement and evaluate a patient's care and patient/family needs through systematic assessment in order to promote comfort and health to patients and their families following the plan of care formulated by the IDT and Staff RN. As part of the interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people, the Licensed Practical Nurse must act in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our organization.
