Facilities Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our facilities.You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to facility maintenance and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.


Weekend Team Nurse (Home-Based Care) RN / LPN

HSWV is growing and re-thinking the way we provide excellent 24-hour care to our patients.

We are hiring home-based nurses to lead a weekend team of care providers for patients in Raleigh, Fayette, Summers and Wyoming Counties. This team will share a flexible day/night shift schedule which alternates weekends to ensure the continuation of care after normal business hours have concluded.

Seeking RN and/or LPN nurses who wish to provide a “Special kind of caring” to patients at end of life.

Nurse candidates must work well in a team environment and be willing to provide hospice care in patient homes. Travel and on-call required. Competitive benefits package and reimbursed mileage. Salary commensurate with experience.


Housekeeper/Cook

The primary purpose of the position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping and Dietary Departments.

Expectations and Responsibilities: As part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people, the Housekeeper must act in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our organization. This is to ensure the Bowers Hospice House is always maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. This position will also assist in the Dietary Department when needed and assist the Head Chef with meal preparation.

Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED.


LPN Home-Based Care

The primary purpose of your job position is to implement and evaluate a patient’s care and patient/family needs through systematic assessment in order to promote comfort and health to patients and their families following the plan of care formulated by the Interdisciplinary Team and Staff RN.

Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and be currently licensed as a LPN in the State of West Virginia. Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in the delivery of nursing services in Hospice, Home Health or Hospital, preferably two (2) years.


CNA Bowers Hospice House (Full time)

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people. Candidates must work well in a team environment and provide a “special kind of caring” to patients in the Bowers Hospice House on an as-needed basis.

This position's pay is based on experience and education.
