Accounts Specialist (Full-Time)

We are looking for an experienced Medical Billing & Accounts Receivable professional to join our team and play an important role in maximizing accurate and timely reimbursement. This position is ideal for someone who understands the full medical billing cycle and takes pride in resolving complex claims and outstanding accounts.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with claims submission, payer follow-up, denial and rejection management, payment posting, account reconciliation, appeals, and resolving billing issues. Additionally, you will request authorizations and submit claims to local Nursing Homes. A strong understanding of insurance guidelines, reimbursement processes, and medical billing practices is essential.

If you are an experienced medical biller who is detail-oriented, persistent, knowledgeable, and takes ownership of your AR, we would love to hear from you.

Housekeeping (Full-Time) Bowers Hospice House

As part of an interdisciplinary team of skilled and caring people, the Housekeeper must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our organization to ensure the Bowers Hospice House is kept clean and sanitary at all times.

CNA Night Shift (Full-Time) Bowers Hospice House

Join an interdisciplinary team of skilled, caring people. Candidates must work well in a team environment and provide “a special kind of caring” to patients in the Bowers Hospice House. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Aide Training Program

HSWV’s Aide Training Program provides no-cost training for individuals interested in providing compassionate care to hospice patients in their homes and at Bowers Hospice House. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and complete a WV Cares background check and drug screen.
